Ah! Michael and I are so excited to share this downtown Jacksonville and GOOD DOUGH engagement session today! Yes, you read that right – Good Dough!! If you’ve never heard of Good Dough, you need to get over to the San Marco area ASAP and have one of their delicious donuts. Each month they change their flavors which means we usually visit at least once a month to make sure we can try the new varieties 😉 I’ve always admired the storefront’s aesthetic, and they have a massive window in front that lets in a ton of light. So when Annie asked me if I had any location ideas for a coffee shop type vibe…Good Dough came to mind pretty quickly (they also have coffee that I’ve heard is pretty great – neither Michael and I are major coffee drinkers so I don’t personally know. But if it’s as good as their other menu items, I’m sure it’s great!).
After spending the first half of the session at Good Dough, Ryan + Annie changed and we headed downtown where we explored a few streets and a rooftop! These two have so much fun together and their playfulness was adorable on camera! They’ve been together for over two and a half years, and since they met at Florida State, it was only fitting that Ryan propose at the stadium this past August!
When Annie first reached out to us, she told us that she was looking for timeless photos that she and Ryan wouldn’t look back on in 30 years and cringe at. We were so excited to hear that, because that’s exactly what we aim for in our style! After chatting on the phone, it was obvious that we were going to be a great match. We’re super excited for their wedding day at Chandler Oaks Barn next year!
