Mannly + Bridget planned a festive Oyster Bay Yacht Club wedding since their big day was just a few weeks before Christmas. We joked several times that it was a true winter wedding – overcast and highs in the mid 50s – FREEZING for Florida! We waited for sun all day and got a few peeks of it here and there. The most memorable sunny moments were during the ceremony. It was cloudy the entire time, except for when Mannly’s father got up and started reading the passage about love in 1st Corinthians. Then again at the very end, when their exit song started playing. They couldn’t have picked a more appropriate one – it was “Here Comes the Sun”!
These two have been together for 7 years, and you could tell their families were overjoyed to be celebrating their marriage! We felt so welcomed the entire day – which always makes our fun job even more enjoyable! We’re really excited to share this sneak peek of their wedding – scroll through to see some of our favorite moments!
How beautiful is this getting ready space?! The villa made the perfect backdrop and had the most gorgeous light. I say again…how beautiful is this space?! Probably one of our favorite getting ready areas yet. Bridget looked stunning and these earrings were the perfect compliment to her dress! Bridget holding back tears while opening Mannly’s gift to her and reading his letter! He put the note in a Coca-Cola bottle because Coke has a connection to each of their hometowns. We always love first looks with the bride’s father. So sweet!See more of our weddings here
