Well, blogging has been on the back burner this summer as it’s been a busy time preparing for baby Cibene #2 (who will be arriving sometime in the next three weeks most likely! Crazy!). But we’re so excited to share Johnathan + Rachel’s wedding images from this past weekend – we’ve been looking forward to their big day for over a year (in fact, their downtown Jacksonville and Memorial Park engagement session was almost a year ago already – say what?!).
Both Rachel and Johnathan have been very involved in the planning process since the beginning, and it was so exciting to see their vision come to life! They had an intimate celebration at a beautiful Pensacola venue, 5-Eleven Palafox. We were able to utilize several parts of downtown for their images! Although photographing a session or in this case, wedding, in a city can come with it’s challenges (space, crowds, etc), I absolutely love the light that can be found in urban areas!
These two are the absolute cutest together, and it’s obvious that their relationship is built on a solid friendship! They aren’t afraid to have fun, but they’re also able to slow down and rest in each other. Johnathan and Rachel, thank you so much for inviting us to be a part of such a beautiful day! We hope you’re able to cherish the memories made for years and years to come!
Time for their first look! Johnathan and Rachel decided to read their vows privately during this time instead of at the ceremony and we LOVE that idea! Even from afar, we could tell how emotional and memorable those moments were for them!
The ceremony space at 5-Eleven Palafox is so darling. And the floral accents on the arch by Supposey Co. were incredible!
Less than 5 minutes after the ceremony began, they were pronounced husband and wife! Short and sweet!
