Andrew + Kacie are two of the most joyful people I’ve ever met. And that joy is contagious – being around them (and their families) is an incredible experience.
That’s why I’ve been excited about this wedding for months – I knew the day would be overflowing with love. And it was!
Despite the rain delay (which was followed by a rainbow – cue the tears), when it came down to it, the day was absoutely perfect. There wasn’t a soul that didn’t believe whole heartedly that these two belong together!
Check out their sparkle infused day – planned and decorated by Kacie’s incredible mama!
Kacie’s mom handmade a broach bouquet! It included several jewelry pieces that were from family members or had a special meaning – such a beautiful memento for Kacie to hold onto!
Mr. Fogle’s first look at his gorgeous daughter!
And then it was time for Drew + Kacie’s first look! Kacie waiting patiently for her groom…
Nothing but happy tears and smiles from Andrew!
Love this shot by my talented second shooter, Katie!
Kacie was literally a princess on her big day – from her tiara to her Alfred Angelo Disney Collection dress, and then her Prince Charming sliding on her shoes – SWOON!
A favorite…they are SO in love!
As they were walking back up to the house to get ready for the ceremony, rain drops started to fall! They handled it like champs though, and soon a rainbow appeared! That’s the second time this has happened at a wedding I’ve shot – and both times it’s been such a tear jerker. I love that rainbows are a promise from God. So when they appear right before a ceremony, it’s such a beautiful symbol of His faithfulness!!
The light was beautiful for the ceremony, which Kacie and Drew chose to have under a gorgeous willow tree!
I love this shot of Drew – he was so excited to see his bride!!
As the music played and her dad walked her down the aisle, Kacie’s voice began to play over the speakers. This is what she said:
“When I was a little girl my daddy always encouraged me to be the best leader in anything and everything I participated in. He taught me how to lead, and persevere when I did not want to lead anymore. This advice he gave me was so easy to execute because all I had to do was watch him. Just when I wanted to quit, he told me that it’s lonely being at the top. After keeping my expectations high, and my dreams higher, I realized something so very valuable…
It’s not that my expectations are too high, it’s just that my daddy set an amazing example for how a man should treat and love me. And truthfully, it was never lonely being at the top because I had my dad standing at the top with me the whole time. Today I am praising Jesus for my dad’s leadership, because it lead me to Andrew Anderson, who will now lead for the rest of my life. So I thank and love you daddy, because I was never alone and never will be.”
I love this shot of the two mamas! <3
