This Vero Beach wedding took my breath away. There was just gorgeousness packed into every. single. detail. And it was all planned in about 2 months! It was a special one too-Elle and I walked out at the end of the night in a haze, we just couldn’t believe how amazing the day turned out!
It all started on New Year’s Eve, when Kelsey texted me this:
I LOVE when my brides are super adventurous and are so “go with the flow”. Amazing. From there on out we discussed rain plans (since it was a beach wedding and an outdoor reception), and started praying for beautiful weather.
Fast forward to the wedding day, and Elle and I arrive in Vero Beach. The forecast called for at least a 40% chance of rain most of the day. But there was not ONE CLOUD in the sky, so we had gorgeous light filled getting ready photos in the hotel room.
Dad’s first look!
The terrific weather continued, with some clouds passing by allowing us to get some great shots of the bridal party and Kelsey and Jerrett’s first “look” (without seeing each other).
Elle and I were just finishing up photographing the ceremony and reception details and the ceremony was about to start when it started raining-slow at first but then picking up. All of the dinner and reception tables had to be brought inside. After it started pouring, Kelsey & Jerrett (sadly) decided to give it half an hour until we would move on with an indoor ceremony. Literally minutes after that decision was made, a huge rainbow spread across the sky and over the beach. I’m seriously such a sap but at this point I was almost in tears (of happiness) and I am again as I write this…I always see rainbows as signs that God is watching over us. He knew Kelsey and Jerrett’s hearts, and He provided. The rain held off and the sun came out and stayed out throughout the ceremony, family photos and bride and groom portraits. I literally just said that we were on our final shot when we felt the first few drops of rain again. I am so amazed at His faithfulness and His blessings. God provides guys, that’s all I can say. Anddd here I am, crying again. 🙂
Kelsey and Jerrett, it was such an honor to be a part of your wedding day. We loved every single second! We wish you nothing but happiness <3
Family and friends, this is just a sneak peek of Kelsey and Jerrett’s wedding photos. Their entire day will be available soon via their online gallery 🙂
